Dear General Wilson

Due to environmental studies made and confirmed by French Government, I am afraid that Wall of Liberty is located on a
protected site called OGS (Opération Grand Site). This means that the construction of any new building is now simply
forbidden and illegal on this site.

Having says that, our museum is under renovation and extension. A space will be specifically reserved for the project in order to
inform visitors, in a form that remains to be defined, about units and men who participated in the Battle of Normandy.

This museum will be happy to make a tribute to all those who contributed to the success of this operation.

General Wilson, we recognize the efforts you make to complete this operation and we are very grateful.

We look forward to meeting with you in order to finalize this installation,
